Hunts Reserve
Tucked away in a little-known area of southern Chapel Hill, just south of campus, lies the luxury neighborhood of Hunts Reserve (a sibling neighborhood to The Reserve). Both are located off Mt Carmel Church Road, and naturally bordered by Morgan Creek and protected lands owned by the NC Botanical Gardens and others. The entire neighborhood is in the 27517 Zip code of Orange County. Hunt's Reserve homes range from the $500s to over $2 million. As of this writing, the average days on market (DOM) is 201.
The majority of the homes were built in the 90s, but still maintain a beauty to classify them as executive homes—with square footage ranging from 3000 to 9000, and the lot sizes range anywhere from 1 to 5+ acres. Most homes in Hunt's Reserve sit on wooded lots with well-maintained landscaping.
The current school system for Hunt's Reserve includes Northside Elementary, Grey Culbreth Middle, and Carrboro High School.
